# MEGA Workshop deletion update

The Workshops page now provides **Delete** for scheduled or closed workshops that have no associated risk assessment or voting history.

- Administrators can delete eligible workshops.
- Risk officers can delete eligible workshops they created.
- A confirmation dialog appears before deletion.
- Live workshops cannot be deleted. Close them first.
- Workshops with any linked risk records or voting rounds cannot be deleted; the system shows the reason.
- Successful deletion is recorded in `audit_logs`.
- No database schema changes or database migrations are required.
- `app/config.php` and all other configuration files remain unchanged.

Installation: back up the existing application and database; replace `public/index.php` using the equivalent file from this archive (or deploy the complete archive without overwriting existing configuration). Do **not** rerun `install.php`.

Verification: PHP syntax and archive integrity were checked locally. A live Afrihost/MySQL integration test has not been performed.
